Former Chillicothe Resident Receives Prestigious Video Editing Award

Extreme Blessing: John & DebbieVIRGINIA BEACH, VA. — Former Chillicothe resident Christopher Free, a video editor for Operation Blessing International, recently was honored with the prestigious Telly Award for excellence in Internet and online video editing work.

Free received a Silver Telly, the highest award, for his work on an online video, “Extreme Blessing,” in the Social Responsibility category. The video highlighted Operation Blessing International’s relief work in Joplin, Mo., following a devastating tornado there in May. His entry was one of more than 11,000 submitted in pursuit of a Telly.

Free also received five Bronze Telly awards, all in the Internet/Online Programs, Segments or Promotional Pieces category.

Free is a Chillicothe native and a 2006 graduate of Ohio University.
